The chief building official of the city is designated to be the authority having jurisdiction
of the Citrus Heights Electrical Code. The chief building official shall administer,
enforce, and render interpretations of the provisions of the Citrus Heights Electrical
Code, and shall, upon application and after receipt of proper documentation as required
under this chapter, grant permits for the installation or alteration of electrical
wiring, devices, appliances, and equipment, and shall make inspections of all new
electrical installations as provided in this chapter.
