§ 18-306. Hearing of appeal by city council.

Appeals to the city council shall be heard at the next convenient meeting after the completion of any required period of giving notice as provided in this article. The city council shall announce its decision denying the permit or directing its issuance subject to such conditions it deems appropriate within 20 days after the close of the hearing. The city clerk shall mail notice of the decision to the appellant, the building official, and any other persons making written request for the decision. The notice shall be mailed within three working days after the decision is announced, as provided in this section.
