The chief building official of the city is designated to be the authority having jurisdiction
of the Citrus Heights Green Building Standards Code. The chief building official shall
administer, enforce, and render interpretations of the provisions of the Citrus Heights
Green Building Standards Code, and shall, upon application and after receipt of proper
documentation as required under this chapter, grant permits for the construction,
alteration, maintenance, and moving of all buildings and structures within this jurisdiction.
