§ 22-26. Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to regulate businesses within the city in order to:
(1)

Ensure compliance with city, state, federal, or otherwise applicable codes, rules, regulations or laws;

(2)

Protect the public;

(3)

Prevent disturbances of neighborhoods and nuisances; and

(4)

Otherwise protect the health, safety and welfare.
