§ 74-6. Abatement proceedings.

Any operation contrary to this chapter or contrary to a refuse collection permit or the terms or conditions imposed therein is unlawful and a public nuisance. The department is authorized to commence, in the name of the city, actions or proceedings for the abatement and removal and enjoining thereof in the manner provided by law and shall take such other steps and shall apply to such court as may have jurisdiction to grant such relief as will abate and remove such operation and restrain and enjoin any person from so operating.
