The subdivider or owner and the board or the director of a local park and recreational
district may, after dedication of the land and before construction of the first dwelling
unit, agree to sell the land dedicated and use the proceeds thereof towards the acquisition
of a more suitable site. Such sale is subject to the limitations imposed on disposition
of park property set forth in the Government Code.
