§ 18-308. Authority to issue building permit.

(a)

If the decision of the building official to grant the building permit pursuant to this article is not appealed within the period specified in section 18-304 or 18-305 and the building proposed to be moved will not come within the scope of the conditions prohibited by section 18-302 and the applicant has complied with all other applicable requirements of this article, the building official shall issue the building permit.

(b)

If an appeal has been filed, the building official shall issue or deny the permit, pursuant to the terms of the final decision of the city council and the other applicable sections of this article.
